Young Guns Tour - Stops In Kingston ON

Country fans in the Limestone area were treated to a handful of great performers on February 27, at the Ale House.

The Young Guns Tour, headlined by Brett Kissel made the stop at the Princess St bar and fans couldn't have asked for a better show.

Opening up the night was Cory Marquardt who has a history with Kingston. While in college he had the opportunity to play some acoustic cover songs on stage at a bar and the fans fell in love with his sound. Now Cory is preparing to release his debut album, expected to be released some time in 2014. He is a great addition to the Young Guns Tour.

Livy Jeanne was the second name on the bill. The Edmonton Alberta native has a powerful voice and has a great stage presence. Her set included her hit songs, "Wrong Side Of The Dirt" and "Any Other Way." If you don't know this girl, make it a priority.

Up and comer, Jordan McIntosh followed Livy. The 2013 Boots and Hearts performer and teen heart throb sang his catchy songs including his current hit, "Grew Up In A Country Song." Jordan has a very enjoyable sound and he was a big hit with all the ladies in attendance.

"One More Girl," took to the stage after Jordan and they rocked it. The sisters from Maple Ridge, B.C are an incredible duo. Canadian Country Music is better because of them. Performing their hits, "Love Like Mine," "When It Ain't Raining," "Run Run Run," and more. They were a great lead into the main act.

Finally, the headliner, Brett Kissel took the stage. The 24 year old from Alberta was amazing. Kicking off his set with Carly McKillip singing "Duet," which is a Carly McKillip and Wes Mack original. The crowd loved it. Kissel, who has been nominated for 2 Juno Awards will also be performing at the Awards Show this year. Furthermore, he has also been asked to play at Parliament Hill in Ottawa, on Canada Day. The young Canadian Country Music Star is making a big name for himself all over the Country Music scene. His Juno nominations are for Breakthrough Artist and Country Album Of The Year. It was a pleasure to get to see this talented musician play in a small venue and interact with the crowd. Kissel performed many of his hits including, "It All Started With A Song," "3-2-1," "Raise Your Glass," and many more.
