Newburgh Christmas Concert Spreads Holiday Cheer and Laughs

The 34th annual Newburgh Community Christmas Concert took to the stage December 14th 2013, at the Newburgh Public School. The annual event is a must see and arriving early to get a seat is also a must. This year the doors had to be locked to the school as the capacity was met for the first showing at 3pm. Although some people were turned away at the door, the event raised approximately $12,500 for Children and Family Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington to purchase gifts for those in need.

The event has entertainment for all ages ranging from musicals, skits and even a Christmas twist on recent events in the news. From the Senate Scandal to the Candy Cane addict Mayor Rob Ford, all skits were well done and all participants did an excellent job.
